I think that Amal is a great Daughter. In the book, she cares for her parents and her siblings. She also helps working for the family and does a lot of things to. I do wonder why she talks about her mother when works at the house that she works at. I think she will be a great teacher, Since Amal helped a girl with her reading.

I think Amal is worried. In the book, her mom is like mostly tired and feels like she mostly have to rest. Which feels like something has happen. I think that Amal also will reach her dream as a teacher. She loved helping her sisters learn and takes care if them.

Amal Seems happy and worried . In the book, She was eager to see her baby sister and seem happy for it to be a girl. Amal seems worried of her mom. It said that Amma NEVER yelled at them. It seems like the mom is acting a bit different. Amal is like the oldest, I think of her sisters and have to take care of all of them. Which seems stressful to do and plus they are poor.

I gave this book 4 stars because some parts made me confused but this was a great book. I would give this book to someone that likes books that are surprising.

Favorite Character: Wavie

My Favorite Character is Wavie because she seems sweet and she really cares about her mom.

Favorite Moment: When Wavie found out about Samantha Rose

My Favorite Moment is when Wavie found out about Samantha Rose was using her for the money because now Wavie knows why she wanted her.
